Meet Susan

I have spent most of my life navigating transitions. I lived abroad for over 20 years, raised five children across multiple countries, and built careers in archaeology and photojournalism before finding my way to counseling. Those experiences taught me something I carry into every session: no matter where we come from, we all share the same deep needs. To feel safe. To feel understood. To feel like we belong.

Today, I work with children, adolescents, and adults in King City and the Portland metro area. My approach is integrative, blending cognitive behavioral therapy with mindfulness in a way that honours the whole person: mind, body, and spirit.
